Introduction
Hesco is a privately held California corporation and has been in continuous operation since 1990. Hesco is at the forefront of the rapidly developing science of high-energy x-ray field inspection. Our unique portable x-ray systems represent the next generation of industrial linear accelerator technology. The size, weight, and power of the linac make them more competitive with any equipment currently in existence. Field service projects to date include bridges, power plants, oil refineries, buildings, marine structures, rockets and satellites.
About Our Services
The two main areas of inspection are the high energy x-ray inspection for heavy industry such as power plants, bridges, dams, refineries, buildings, rockets, satellites, and also low energy x-ray such as contaminate inspection for the food industry.
The company offers engineering and design consultation in all aspects of industrial x-ray inspection. Hesco has designed radiographic systems for projects as large as the space shuttle and as small as an integrated circuit. In addition, Hesco has designed real-time x-ray imaging systems combining multi-axis computer controlled manipulation with state of the art image processing for applications throughout the aerospace, electronic, and industrial production industries. Hesco can tailor a system to the specific needs of any product as well as carry out batch analysis on short notice with a portable low energy system.
The on-site facility provides a high-energy test cell with a complete imaging facility set up for research and development, film and real-time imaging and analysis. The facilities also include image processing, darkroom and automatic film processing for production runs.
