HESCO's portable 6 Mv linear accelerator is ideal for x-ray of large pressure vessel nozzles, flanges, seam, butt, full and partial penetration welds for all critical services in all materials. Pressure vessels can be x-rayed during fabrication, after installation, and in many cases during operation. Our Panoramic head is ideal for shooting circumferential welds on diameters greater than 48". HESCO's portable linear accelerator can be used to economically x-ray heavy section cast steel parts up to 16" thick. The fluid filled 34" stopple tee mock-up (pictured) was x-rayed to demonstrate the ability to detect fine cracks during operation. Excellent 1T sensitivity was obtained using double wall technique.
